Truly - I cannot recommend Dr. Alexandra Hart and her team highly enough. As a mom of three young kids with a history of three C-sections, I walked into her office carrying not just physical changes, but also a fair amount of medical trauma. From the first meeting, Dr. Hart was amazing; she truly understood my body’s current state and listened deeply to the results I wanted. We discussed several different approaches and arrived at a plan together: a drainless abdominoplasty with diastasis recti repair and liposuction. What sets Dr. Hart apart is that she is so much more than a skilled surgeon. She is a parent who "gets it." She was incredibly thoughtful about balancing my family’s needs with my surgical recovery. She offered wonderful parent to parent suggestions to both my husband and me that made the logistics of recovery with three little kids feel manageable. She is friendly, she gives hugs, she checks in constantly, and she treats you like a person rather than just a patient. Professionally, she is at the top of her field. This women is a BADDIE!! She is a member of several prestigious medical organizations where she has won awards for her research on recovery. She stays on the bleeding edge of emerging techniques, such as using the PICO device, which gave me so much confidence in my healing process- a big trauma trigger for me. Her office even provided a folder with instructions for pre and post-op, leaving us feeling organized and prepared. I also have to give a 5/5 stars to Tammy, the Practice Administrator! I adore her! Tammy is phenomenal and truly cares about the patients. She walked me through costs and payment types clearly and answered my one million questions (sorry, Tammy!) with professional grace and a smile. Both she and Dr. Hart handled my past birth trauma with such sensitivity and care. I am still healing, and doing great, by the way! I plan to come back and update this review with before, during, and after photos soon. Photos really helped me with my decision so I want to share that with others. If you are nervous about surgery or just starting to think about it, please go have a conversation with Dr. Hart. See if her team is the right fit for you. They certainly were for me, and I would do it again a hundred times over! <3

Dr. Hart is truly amazing doctor and person. She listens to her patients needs and wants. She does what is right for each patient based on that patient. If you are the person that wants to know everything you can change she will help you. However, if you are the person that has just one area you are concerned with she will do just that and is not going to try and make you see flaws you never knew you had or bothered you.
