Dr. Frautschi is by far the best plastic surgeon in the field. I’ve gone to him for years and would fly back and forth from out of state just to see him because I didn’t trust anyone else with my face. He has an expert level of knowledge and has so much passion in educating his clients. I always ask him so many questions every time to pick his brain and learn more about my face and skin. He always takes the time to explain everything in detail and is genuinely one of the most caring people I’ve ever met. His attentiveness to the client experience is truly one of a kind and his results that he provides are a work of art. I am so sad I live so far away currently. My appointments with him are ones that I look forward to with genuine excitement. He’s the only one I would trust with major procedures as well. Keep doing amazing things, Dr. Frautschi! You are truly impeccable in everything you do! ☺️

Dr Frautschi, Stefany, nurses and the support staff at Austin Face and Body are top notch. I’m very. pleased with the results of my HALO and fat grafting of my face and hands. Back in July of 2025, I experienced a pretty severe orbital fracture that left my eye sunken into my face. My face was visibly disfigured for about 6 months and Dr. Azad and her team were able to put my eye back into place and make my face normal again! My understanding is that it was a difficult procedure but Dr. Azad absolutely knocked it out of the park and I cannot thank her and her team enough. It’s restored my self confidence and made me recognize myself again and you can’t put a price on that. Here’s a before and after photo for reference 10/10 highly recommend!

I have been very happy with my experience at Austin Face and Body. Everyone on staff has been extremely professional, the office is calming and very clean. Dr. Gauger did a fantastic job listening to (and understanding) what I was hoping to get out of my procedure and had a very detailed discussion with me about what to expect. Dr Mitchell Gauger treated me at Austin Face & Body for a breast implant contracture last autumn. I had noticed some disfigurement of both breast implants, and thought it could possibly be a rupture. Upon my first visit with Dr. Gauger, he identified the problem as a contracture of both implants, not a rupture. He explained the issue clearly, so I understood the problem required surgery to remove the scar tissue & damaged implants and replace them with new implants. I had explained how I felt the disfigurement of the implants had made me feel self conscious with my husband. I felt embarrassed of my deformed breasts. It wasn’t a good feeling. Dr. Gauger helped me to feel confident that he could help me repair my breast implant contractures, by performing a breast reconstruction surgery. Dr. Gauger’s kind demeanor and intelligent explanations helped me and my husband prepare for the surgery. At 72 years of age I was a bit nervous to have surgery with anesthesia. Ďr. Gauger calmed my fears that he would take care of me and any risks as if I were his mother. And he did ! Every step of the process went smoothly, without any complications. The end result was better than I could have ever anticipated. I love the end results—breasts that look beautiful and symmetrical, fitting my body naturally. A perfect fit that helps me feel whole again. You have a choice in breast reconstruction surgeons, and I would choose Dr. Mitchell Gauger as a first choice. He is highly skilled, intelligent, knowledgeable and articulate. His kindness is much appreciated. I highly recommend him.
