Savannah was super nice and enjoyable to talk to. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is for several reasons and am hoping it will help savannah enhance her business. 1. the facial itself was not great or HYDRATING at all to the point where i was like 'did i even get the right service done' skin was very very bland. Felt like a waste of time to be honest. But for $60 it can pass. 2. The location is a buzzkill for sure. Very old building and hard to find the actual salon. I think if Savannah made her room a lot cozier/ambiance, even provided an actual robe of some sorts it would be a big difference. This is everything when it comes to aesthetics. People want to feel like they are relaxing. 3. She doesn't use medical grade skincare. I think every aesthetician should 100%. Cannot have people pay $$$ for facials and then put jergens on their face afterwards. Overall, I don't think I would go back. Again, super sweet person and hoping she grows!!
Got a hydrafacial with Savannah. She was sweet, but the location is very run down and the place is hard to find. The environment was not what I would consider to be relaxing. The hydrafacial part was only a few minutes long and the rest of the service included exfoliants, extractions, and lotion. I have very sensitive skin and the products used were extremely irritating to my skin personally. I would have given 3 stars, but at the end of the facial I was asked to provide gratuity which made me super uncomfortable…
Savannah is the absolute BEST! I've trusted her for years with all of my facial /skin needs! She's very thorough, caring, educational, fun, and makes you feel comfortable! She has so much experience with a variety of facial machines/techniques and never stops learning to be able to provide the best for her clients! Go see her!
Always so happy with my facials from Savannah! I get the hydrofacial and it really gives my skin a nice refresh! Savannah is very skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to skin. And the experience is so relaxing. Happy to support such a great small business!
my skin looks soooo amazing! Savannah was very attentive to my needs! The stress ball during extractions was a lovely touch that helps a lot. 10/10 recommended @theetravelhippie
My husband and I had a hydra facial here with Savannah, that we purchased from Groupon. Booking was easy, she was nice, + our skin was smooth and refreshed when we left. Tbh, that's all I was hoping for since I didn't pay much for the Groupon. If you're looking for no frills and a facial to clean up your skin, I would definitely recommend it. My husband was happy it didn't take long and his skin looked great. He doesn't follow a skin care routine so this is something that would be great for him every 6 weeks to refresh his skin. The facial was fairly quick around 30 mins. I myself on the hand prefer the "spa ambiance" so I will probably not return. However, I most definitely support small business owners and I will be booking more facials for my husband here with Savannah in the future.
My boyfriend and I recently visited Balm & Bumble in Austin for microdermabrasion facials with Savannah, and we were blown away by the results! Savannah was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. Both of us left with our skin feeling smooth, rejuvenated, and glowing. The treatment exceeded our expectations in every way. While the building itself could use a little updating, the high-quality care and expertise we received made up for it. If you’re looking for an amazing facial experience in Austin, we highly recommend booking with Savannah at Balm & Bumble!
Imagine going to get a hydro facial treatment + micro dermabrasion for the first time because you’ve decided to start taking care of your skin but while you’re getting a facial the esthetician uses the microdermabrasion tool too close to your hairline. As I am laying there i’m thinking “hmm she’s mighty close to my hairline but surely she has more common sense than to be dragging that tool across my hair line and break my literal hair strands. (Keep in mind my hair was braided back so no hair was in the way or preventing her from executing her job.) Anywho, this thought about her probably breaking my strands stays in your head up until you take your braids down to check if she actually broke your hair and come to find out SHE DOES. I took my hair down today and the first two braids along my edge line has MULTIPLE strands of hair broken off. As someone who takes VERY great care of her hair and takes pride in healthy hair this is totally unacceptable. I AM EXTREMELY frustrated and will never recommend anyone to Savannah because of this experience. I am a Black Women who’s very careful about the way my hair is treated and to go and get a new facial done just to leave with broken hair is just despicable. I honestly could go on and on about my frustration but what good is it going to do me? Other than driving myself into rage. I will never recommend anyone to Balm & Bubble/ Savannah. If you’re reading this Savannah, you should be ashamed of yourself. Do better.
Savannah does a wonderful job. She is very knowledgeable and caring. The place is dated and no thrills, this is not a spa, but once in the room, Savannah does make sure this is a relaxing and pampering experience.
I had an amazing experience with Savannah! She was incredibly attentive and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire Hydro Facial session. My skin feels refreshed and glowing now. I highly recommend her!
