Keyanna was my aesthetician today and she did an incredible job! She explained every step well and helped me customize a care plan to achieve my goals. Nicole was very welcoming and helpful at the front desk! Thanks again!
Not a good place for lashes. It was only after my appointment that I learned Keyanna had "just gotten certified for lashes" and had been practicing on the staff at Face to Face. She was very sweet but perhaps should be taking models, not paying clients. I came in for the advertised lash promotion in December. I just moved back to Austin from out of state and was looking for a new lash technician. I am not super picky or one to complain very often but I have been getting lash extensions for about 15 years and the service I received from Keyanna at Face to Face was far from "trusted medical spa" quality. Because every esthetician has their own technique, I refrained from making too many requests or walking in with my own lash map, as I assumed the estheticiam was competent and qualified. I did find it odd that she did not ask to see any of the lash photos I had prepared, but again, I was trusting that she was a professional and let it go. I do feel she could have done a lot more to clarify my desired look. The one question she did ask was whether I like them "more natural or less natural" which is subjective and I guess not super helpful in helping us come to an understanding of what length, curl and weight to use. After about 3 hrs I woke up to a set of lash extensions that were honestly about the same length as my real lashes and very light and sparse. There was also so much glue on the TIPS of the extensions that she could hardly even brush through them without snagging the ends. Since I had already wasted 3 hrs and $150, I did ask politely if she could add a little more length and try to add to my outter and inner corners which had not been lashed at all. She was openly frustrated with the request but did take about 3 more minutes to try to add 5 or 6 longer extensions to the set. I left almost in tears and while I do appreciate the owner reaching out to me personally to offer a new free full set, I did not have the space in my schedule for another 3 hr appointment as I had holiday travel plans early the next a.m. I was bummed because I was really looking forward to having pretty lashes again for Christmas pictures with my family. It is one thing to have a misunderstanding on this style and look, but to use so much glue that it damages the client's real lashes is really not cool. After I returned from the holiday break, Lezlie (another Face to Face esthetician) attempted to removed all the glue, but I was still left with a few stubborn clumps super close to eyelid. The owner "waived the removal" fee, which I felt should have been a given? It's not like I came in with someone else's botched work asking for a favor. I had received a poor service and expected the business to take some responsibility and steps to resolve it. All this to say, I am sure this is a great place to go for facials. But even Lezlie admitted that they don't really "specialize" in lashes and that most of their clients go elsewhere for lash services and come to Face to Face for skincare and injections. I might suggest then to take the service off the menu, or get a more experienced lash tech, or perhaps provide more guidance and retraining to their newest staff member.
Keyanna was a phenomenal aesthetician. This was the best facial I ever experienced. My skin is glowing after the microdermabrasion. The head scalp and hand massage was amazing too! Highly recommend this spa with friendly staff.
Amazing experience! I came in for the $99 new client special! Leslie gave me the most relaxing facial! I was glowing at the end! Highly recommend
Came here for a complimentary chemical peel. Miss Lezlie was very educational and did a great job. Definitely recommend.
I had a great facial with Keyanna! I love this location and all their services.
