We came to Dr.Numa as a 3rd opinion for an upper blepharoplasty for my 73 year old dad. Within the first 10 minutes of our consultation I knew we had found the right surgeon. As someone who’s been in the cosmetic field for 15+ years I was very cautious with my choice. Dr Numa was extremely thorough, honest, professional, meticulous, and knowledgeable. Dr.Numa demonstrates a lever of compassion that is unlike anyone else. My dad looks 20 years younger and he’s thrilled with the results. The office made everything easy when it came to all the appointments and all communications (thank you Corey.) Fantastic experience and outstanding results! Thank you Dr.Numa and staff!!

The bedside manner and attention to detail that Dr. Numa displays at every visit is unmatched. He always does a great job explaining what the procedure is, what to expect, and how to care for your skin after the treatment. I also love that even though he is one of the busiest plastic surgeons in the greater Boston area, I have never once felt rushed or pressured at an appointment. Dr. Numa is a master of his craft, first and foremost. He and his staff (Corey) have incredible bedside manner and are so warm and welcoming every time I go in, it’s like visiting friends— it’s almost sad that the results of Dr. Numa’s work lasts so long because I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like— but that’s a testament to his success. At the recommendation of a since retired surgeon I used to go to, I first made an appointment with Dr. Numa last year for lip augmentation. As most people should be, I’ve always been particular about the qualifications of the people I’m going to that will be doing any sort of cosmetic enhancement to my face. I wouldn’t say I have a necessarily unique lip shape, but it’s definitely one that requires a different approach than that typical pattern of injection that we tend to see on most people— it was always really important to me that my lips don’t look unnatural and that the placement of filler compliments their shape while also keeping their integrity. So when I say that Numa is a master of what he does— it’s because I have never been so pleased with the results as of my visits to him and impressed with the eye for detail he has proven to have when it comes to what will look best and how to achieve it. I’m absolutely, for lack of any other term, obsessed with the results of my most recent visit. The pictures below are from a few days after the injections (and with some lipstick on as a disclaimer). To note, too, is that in the past and at other hands, it has taken much longer for the results to show, for the filler to settle, for swelling and discomfort to go away. That has never been an issue after leaving Dr. Numa’s practice. I didn’t know that it would be possible to have such a quick recovery time and be so satisfied with the results so soon after injection— always thinking it was normal to be talking a bit funny for a week or so. But that’s, again, a testament to his skill— gorgeous results and with an impressive turn around time. Besides my love for my experiences with lip augmentation— I did recently get Botox for the first time ever a few days ago by him. As you can imagine, I was pretty nervous— I’ve never had it done before! I didn’t know if it was going to hurt, if I’d regret the way it turned out, any of that. BUT I could not be more pleased. I spoke with him about the concerns of being able to move my face still how I wanted— the focus of the injection location to target those 11s that the summer really insists upon bringing out— and not wanting to lose the ability to emote as much as I do. He adjusted the amount of units based on my apprehension and truly, I could not be happier. If I didn’t flaunt his work and brag to friends how much I love what he’s accomplished on my face, you would never be able to tell— except for the fact that I don’t look like I’m scowling as much. I cannot express how incredible my experiences with Dr. Numa have been and I cannot recommend his services enough to any and all that will listen. If you want incredible and natural looking results, at competitive pricing, by a professional— a master even— this is the place you want to be. Dr. Numa is an amazing surgeon. He treated me in the past for skin cancer surgery and the results were remarkable! My most recent consultation was thorough and informative.. He exemplifies professionalism and compassion. I am grateful that he is my surgeon.

Dr. Numa is one of the best doctors that I have ever met. I came to him for a second opinion for a necessary procedure that had to be done on my forehead, and he was amazing. He listened to me, told me that he would be happy to help me, and I was so pleased with the end results. His attention to detail, his calm and friendly nature immediately put me at ease. He is also a “master” at what he does. I recommend him highly, and am already planning on going back to him again.

Dr Numa was involved in my care after two Mohs surgery on my face. The first time there were two areas of basal cell cancer near my mouth. He really thought about his approach and took his time stitching both areas that were close to each other to minimalize the scarring. I remember him going back and forth from one side of the table to the other to really look at the area as he proceeded, he was meticulous. He also was very calming, talking to me as he worked. No one can detect the scar even after I point it out. About a year later, I had Moh's surgery again for a area on my nose. This time I needed a graft (gulp). Again, friends who knew what I had gone through really looked and were impressed, as am I, how natural looking the area appears. Thank you Dr. Numa!

I couldn't be happier with the results of Dr. Numa's work! I've held off on writing this review since my procedure back in December of 2024 because I wanted to see how I healed over time. I have no scarring, and the incision site is "socially invisible" as he promised it would be. Dr. Numa was an absolute pleasure to interact with. His patience and bedside manner relieved all the stress and worry I had going into this. And Corey was an absolute dream to coordinate everything with! I highly recommend this dynamic duo for anyone considering or needing a procedure done on such a highly visible and sensitive area.

Such a great interaction from start to finish. Corey was professional and got me scheduled quickly. She was very helpful during the appointment as well.
