Ms. Burka is the best! She is great and the staff is always courteous and efficient. I never wait long and they are very prompt with the visits. She has helped me over the years and was great with my son’s acne while in high school. I would definitely recommend her!

Always a great experience here, been seeing Dr. Grattan for many years and she’s always very thorough and always willing to listen to concerns. I never feel rushed out the door. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Highly recommend her!

Dermatology Care of Charlotte is awesome. The staff is friendly and the competence superb. I see Kristin Berka and not only is she an excellent dermatologist her bedside manner is unsurpassed. I love getting to visit with her and having had two melanomas and many pre-cancer spots, she is on top of every spot seeing me every 4 months to make sure I stay healthy. I highly recommend! Dermatologist Jacqueline Leyrer is exceptional. She truly listens, takes time to answer every question, and makes you feel heard and cared for. I always leave feeling confident that she is thoughtful and committed to providing the right treatment. The front office team at the Ballantyne location is just as wonderful. They are consistently kind, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. On one visit, I saw a staff member rush outside to assist an elderly man who seemed lost. That small moment reflected genuine compassion and humility, and it speaks to the culture of care throughout the office.

I had ANOTHER excellent experience at Dermatology Care of Charlotte! Dr. Seward, Natalie his tech/assistant, the front desk staff at the Indian Trail office…. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming …. and excellent at what they do! I feel totally comfortable there, and trust them to do an exceptional job every single visit. I highly recommend them!

If I could give zero—or even negative—stars, I would. The location is terrible, with extremely heavy traffic in the early morning. I was stuck in traffic for 15 minutes, after already driving 40 minutes to get there. Most medical offices allow a 15-minute grace period for situations like this, but apparently not here. I work 9–5 every day, and it’s already very difficult for me to make time for appointments. When I arrived, the receptionist asked doctor Jacqueline Leyrer twice if she could still see me. I even said I was fine seeing a nurse instead, but was told that no nurses were available either. Doctors take an oath to care for patients in need, not to reschedule them over a 15-minute delay Completely unreasonable and incredibly frustrating. This was a huge waste of time.

I absolutely love Dr. Seward. He did my earlobe repair and was super friendly and professional. He also had a sense of humor that I loved. I would definitely recommend him and I will be back to see him soon for my acne breakouts. Found me a new dermatologist!!!!
