My boyfriend goes here and recommended me to try them out. I have been scared of going to the doctor since I was little so I always avoided it. I told them upfront I have always had bad experiences with doctors and they could tell I was nervous. They made me feel at home and made me very comfortable. Nurse Carolyn was super professional and hit all points. I will forever go here as my primary care doctor. If you are looking for a new doctor, this is the place to go! :)
Had my annual physical and when getting the lab results the person on the phone could not explain the results to me and said the doctor will be giving me a call to explain… it’s been over a week and I have not gotten a call. & when I try to call I get the voicemail. I ended up googling the results … Also mentioned multiple different weight loss drugs during the appointment when I am barely over weight by medical standard. The staff was friendly and nice but I don’t feel I was really taken care of.
Will leave my original review below. I am now on year 5-6 since I’ve been a patient here. My new PCP has been Carolyn & she is just as amazing as Jamie was. She has been very welcoming, very kind & makes sure my physicals are thorough every year, as I am still a thyroid cancer survivor (coming up on 3 years) So I am making sure I do my part & Carolyn does hers. Truly grateful to have a PCP I can rely on & there when needed. Truly amazing staff. They are all the best! I’ve been going here for over 3 years now & both Julie & Jamie are great. The office staff are all very kind & welcoming. Jaime is a true Gem. Not only has she been so kind to me, she has been the best with making sure I am taken care of as her patient. She is not there to cut corners or get you in & out. She does what she loves & makes sure she does it right. I went in for a physical that is required for my job. She did everything that is required in a physical & discovered a lump on my Thyroid. And this is with knowing about what runs in my family. She made sure to check. As I was never aware to check my throat. She recommended a doctor & it was discovered that I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer. I got a thyroidectomy, radiation & now cancer free. 4 months post-op. Many can look at it as something small, but because of Jamie, her caring & doing what she did, she saved my life. I trust her even more & hold her dearly to my heart for caring for me like she did. This is my PCP family & don’t plan to go anywhere else. Thank you Jamie, you are truly loved!
Dr. Julie Reihsen is one of the best doctors ever!! I have seen her shortly after moving to Texas. She is a very caring doctor with a superb bedside manner. A++++++++ Doctor!!
DR Reihsen and her staff are amazing! From the minute you are greeted, the staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. Carolyn is encouraging and has helped me achieve my goals in their weight loss program! You should book your next appointment now!
I'm not a person that likes to post things at all, However, I would like to do so and only because I’m so happy My wife and made the switch to Dr Reihsen. She is not your typical 2-3 minute visit, ask a few questions and pay the copay kind of doctor. NO!!, not at all, she is the best doctor that I could have imagine for us. She cares for us, she gets on me for not being responsible and she calls to check on you. I don't know what you all consider a doctor, but to me she is the real deal. I’m so happy with her and believe, I’m as picky as they come. Recently I also noticed the staff changed and it noticeable. The new staff is extremely friendly and nice. But the best thing is that they listen. Good job recognizing the need to change. NO one paid me to do this, not I’m getting free checkups. But I highly recommend this doctor. We come from Grand Prairie, and honestly, the 40minute drive is worth the visit.
Couldn't go in as walk in. I'm new to the area. I had to make an appointment later that day. Receptionist was nice and super busy but gave me the attention I needed as a new patient. The nurse did her job well with the basic information and I waited for the doctor. Doctor Natalie was super nice and throughly about my medical history. She didn't rush and took her time to examine me well. Very attentive and concerned about my health. She gave good remedies and advice to get me well soon and feel better. I found a good family doctor and will bring my family here.
I recently visited Dr. Reishen’s office for personalized primary care services, and overall, my experience was positive. With a private parking lot that offers plenty of parking, the office is located on the second floor and easily accessible. Dr. Reishen was wonderful—very pleasant and attentive throughout my appointment. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided a clear explanation of potential plan of care options. My consultation for Biote was particularly informative. It was presented as a potential treatment but not the only option, which I appreciated. I’m giving four stars due to some issues with communication and the front office staff. The person at the front desk was sweet but seemed new and initially couldn’t locate the correct paperwork for me to complete. Once found, I noticed the paperwork stated that I needed to bring recent labs for Dr. Reishen to review and that the consultation fee was $150—none of this information was communicated when I booked the appointment. When I asked about the consult fee, I was told the consultation was actually free. After I left the appointment, the front desk called to inform me they forgot to collect the $150 payment for the Biote labs and that the labs wouldn’t be sent for processing until the payment was made. While I appreciate the care and professionalism of Dr. Reishen, better communication and clarity from the office staff would improve the overall experience.
I am a middle-aged man, terrified of giving blood…this office and the staff are amazing! You feel welcome the minute you walk in and they care about you even if you're a new patient. If your nervous about going to see the doctor - this place is for you. The staff and Dr. Reihsen are fantastic and make you feel comfortable! You'll feel better if you just go and stop putting off that physical! I do!
I have had the privilege of knowing Dr. Reihsen for a while now and I can honestly say she is a good physician. A good physician that comes with pluses. The office staff is a very pleasant staff that has gone over and beyond to help me out in many instances. Even though lately I have felt like I am there every day the staff never acts as though I am a burden and I am always friendly, smiling faces. The look of the office is very inviting and presents a comfortable atmosphere as well. In my opinion Dr. Reihsen is very knowledgeable in her work. She has been able to give me facts and sources of where I can further examine what she discusses with me. I would recommend anyone looking for a thorough and compassionate physician to go see Dr. Reihsen. A really cool thing that is going on in her office now is there is an aesthetics section with skincare products and a plethora of other products and treatments. Dr. Reihsen is helping us to be healthy on the inside and the outside.
