I love coming to Alison for my electrolysis appointments. I had tried laser before on my bikini area, and after years of painful laser sessions, I was horrified to see that the hair started growing back after I turned 40. That made for a less than happy pool season. A friend told me about Alison and I found her location convenient near my office. She answered all my questions and put me at ease. She is reasonable and always accommodates my schedule. I've been researching electrolysis and it's supposed to be permenant - I sure hope it's more permanent than laser! There are some hairs you just never want to see again. Alison has been so amazing since day one and I believe she is hands down the best electrologist in LA! Highly recommend!

I discovered Alison after a friend mentioned that electrolysis might be more effective for my facial hair than laser. I had done laser 3 years ago, and while I was happy at the time, I am noticing chin and upper lip hairs coming back now! They are lighter and thinner than before, but still - after all the laser sessions and expense, I was so annoyed to have to worry about facial hair again. I did some research about electrolysis vs. laser and reached out to Alison for a free consult for first-time electrolysis clients. I thought electrolysis might be more painful or costly than laser, but at this point I really just want my chin and upper lip hair gone forever. Alison came highly recommended as the best in Los Angeles, and she did not disappoint. We discussed the plan and what to expect with electrolysis, and I instantly felt at ease with her. She is one of the most capable and caring professionals I've met in LA. Her studio is small but well equipped, and I like that I an text her to get an appointment in, with my hectic schedule. I started my sessions last month and am already seeing a difference. I can't wait to be done with facial fair for good!

I am African-American and was skeptical about the results I could achieve from electrolysis because of my dark skin and curly hair. When I first met with Alison, I was impressed by her honesty and how realistic she was about the results. That was huge. That was a few months ago and now everything is turning out the way she said it would - no more razor bumps!!! I like that Alison goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable and doesn't rush anything - that's important to me because I want her to take her time and be thorough, which she is. She has had experience with my skin and hair type and that saves a lot of time and trouble. Above all though, Alison is a really nice person! She is one of those people that you can meet one time and feel like you've known for years.

Alison was helpful when I called and was asking about sessions. She explained electrolysis and was informative and patient. She has also been responsive and helpful with scheduling. Brian is the technician I have had sessions with. He is quick and professional.

What a great experience! I feel much more confident (especially in strong daylight!) and way less self -conscious. After putting up with bothersome hair growth on my chin and upper lip, I heard about Alison at my nail salon and finally made the call. What a difference! Way less painful than I had imagined and effective in ways home treatments just were not. My face is smooth and hair free. Alison explained the process very clearly and she provided a relaxing atmosphere for her clients. Alison has my vote for Best Electrolysis in Los Angeles!

I am absolutely glad that I made the decision to get electrolysis from electrolysis by Allison! The space is clean, Allison is kind and professional, and Brian is the best and so sweet! At first I was hesitant as I am a woman of color with corse hair. But I took a leap of faith because Allison was so kind with answering my questions. It was a risk that was worth it and I’ll do it again! I have struggled with chin hair since I was 14 due to pcos and finally I am rod of these hairs after over 20 years! I seen results from the first session, with each session the hair grew back thinner and less. By the 5th visit I only had 4 hairs ( 2 on each chin) after years of having a mini beard on each chin. I have never had any scarring or bumps, matter of fact the skin looks even better and clear. Their electrolysis technology works on my corse chin hairs, doesn’t scar or bleed, and I never had any in frown hairs. Honestly I’m still in shock that I don’t have chin hair any more. I’m so grateful for Allison and Brian words truly can’t express how grateful I am. I feel like a woman again and I don’t have to worry about embarrassing chin hair and they even got rid of the two long whisker hairs I had on my left side of my upper lip. You can’t even tell I had chin hair I have no scarring, no signs of hair bumps, literally just smooth hairless chin! I’m so grateful

I am a young woman who has embarrassingly thick and dark facial hair. I’ve had people point out my hair, which lowered my self-esteem. I decided to try electrolysis because I wanted my facial hair permanently gone. Alison was very thorough in explaining the process of electrolysis and what I can expect during my treatment. It’s been about three months now and I am happy with my progress. I have been getting my treatments done from Brian, who is extremely kind and friendly. He never makes me feel embarrassed for having thick and dark facial hair. He is understanding and makes sure I am comfortable during the session. Brian is very gentle and targets every single hair during the session. We talk throughout the treatment, which makes the experience much more enjoyable. He works carefully and minimizes the pain of electrolysis. My hair has become thinner and takes longer to grow back. I feel more confident about myself after every appointment with Brian. I couldn’t recommend Brian enough, he is amazing! I am so grateful to Brian and Alison for helping me reach my beauty goals!
