This doctor is super gentle and won't ever be too aggressive in his approach to tattoo removal. However he is highly knowledgeable and knows what's best for you. I have done a total of 6 sessions. I just purchased another package of 3 for a steal price. I am fully aware at this point that I will need plenty more sessions. My skin has not had any scaring or complications from the laser thanks to his gentle technique. His prices are far below the average rate. Having to return more times is not a deal breaker. Other places advertise 100% removal by the end 6 treatments but also charge twice as much. He is definitely below market rates and his friendly staff make it worthwhile. Just trust the process and be patient.

I hate to leave a bad review, but to go through laser removal (extremely painful) and not see a tiny bit of change is very frustrating. I’ve had 3 sessions done and yes I know it takes 10+ sessions to fully remove it, but you should see a change in the first few sessions already and mine hasn’t faded AT ALL. The laser they use is really good (PicoSure) so I’m not sure what’s the issue. Btw I got it on Groupon.

Scam place. I’ve had a tattoo removed years ago in a different state so I’m very familiar with the process. This doctor is not good. Had the settings so low on the laser that it literally removed no ink. Didn’t even use the cooling air pump during the procedure. Rushed. Avoid at all cost. Seriously. Terrible provider.

5 stars. Dr. Berdjis is great. Rachel is also amazing. I’ve been going to them for my tattoo removal and I’m seeing results.

I'm extremely glad to have found this clinic! The doctor was very thorough and informative. I had tried several different treatments and other laser facials to erradicate an issue with spots from a previously unrelated treatment (somewhere else). After my first treatment that was recommended, I am already seeing amazing results! The staff is very friendly and helpful, making for a very pleasant environment. Looking forward to the next!

I’ve been coming here for a little over a year and have completed 6 sessions so far. I’m honestly surprised to see negative reviews, because my experience has been the opposite. I’m currently removing 7 tattoos - some only a few years old, others around 15 years old. The older tattoos faded much faster; most are nearly gone after 6 sessions, which aligns with what the staff told me to expect. One even had quite a bit of color, and it’s almost completely gone now. I’ll probably need just 1-2 more sessions for that one (due to the colors). The newer tattoos (all black ink) have also faded significantly after 6 sessions, though they’re progressing at different rates. I did a lot of research beforehand and understand that removal depends on several factors - placement, age, colors, and how heavy-handed the artist was. Since mine were done by different artists, I can definitely tell which ones had more ink packed in. Based on that, I expect those will take closer to 10–12 sessions, which is completely normal and in line with the quotes I received elsewhere before choosing LaserXX. From my progress so far, I’m confident they’ll be gone around the 10-session mark, with maybe a couple needing an extra treatment or two. A lot of people expect tattoo removal to be quick, but it isn’t - it takes time for the ink to break up and for your body to process it, which is why you have to wait weeks between sessions. Sometimes tattoos even look darker or “blown out” at first as the ink breaks apart. I’ve noticed this especially with my fine-line tattoos, but over time they’ve continued to fade just as expected. I’d also like to add that I live a very healthy lifestyle. I eat well, exercise regularly, don’t smoke, and take care of my skin - which I’m sure has contributed to my success. Overall, I don’t think this place is a scam at all - in fact, I believe their pricing is very fair for LA. The staff is consistent, professional, and always pleasant to work with. It’s the same team every time I go, and I’ve only ever had positive experiences. I’ll definitely continue coming here and recommend them to anyone considering tattoo removal. I’ve added a few before and after pics to show my results. Most are even more faded than the photos, but I got another session today and they are too red to photograph accurately.

Do not go here. They told me a small dime sized tattoo on finger that was black could take over 15 sessions... but not guaranteed. Scam place, avoid. Very unprofessional nurse and doctor.

Dr. Peiman Berdjis is a very friendly, considerate, and kind doctor. He's great at his job and his office is very welcoming. Each session I go to get my tattoo removed, I learn more about him, his family and his staff. I would highly recommend his office as their prices are fair and all around very professional staff.
