Having had 2 hydro facials and a laser resurfacing treatments at Laser Med spa in Coconut Grove, I’m very satisfied with to results. The technicians are very nice and do a good job. The receptionist is not very friendly nor knowledgeable. When I asked if the strong room scent could be milder she simply replied “ I don’t smell it”. As a person very sensitive to smells, let me say it’s too much and it isn’t very subtle! I had to go outside to prevent an asthmatic episode. As a Grove resident I try to patronize local businesses. However, it would help if the owner was aware how offensive the air freshener can be to someone very sensitive to smells. UPDATE: I am very happy to upgrade my review from 3 to 5 stars! As promised the owner understood my sensitivity to smells and lowered the room scent to barely noticeable when I returned to get a laser resurfacing treatment. Rachel was super attentive and did a wonderful job. I didn’t experience any discomfort. It’s nice to have such a warm caring friendly spa so close to my home in Coconut Grove. I will be recommending this spa to my friends. Thank you Rachel for acknowledging my requests and making my spa treatment very comfortable. I’m looking forward to my next session next month.
