I’ve been coming to Bared Monkey for 3 years now, and I swear by them! They offer the best prices, and the office is really nice and clean. Most recently, I had Claire, who was very friendly, super thorough, and continuously checked in on me to make sure the pain wasn’t too much. They’re also not too pushy about me coming back, they truly only want you to come back for more sessions on an as needed basis. I’ve recommended them to at least 5 of my friends, and they’ve all become regulars! You will not regret coming here

I’ve been coming here for laser hair removal and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience. My technician, Mita, is absolutely amazing. She explains the process clearly, gives helpful feedback, and always makes sure I’m comfortable throughout the treatment. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing, which makes a big difference. The space is always very clean and professional, and the staff is responsive and easy to communicate with when booking or asking questions. The whole experience feels smooth and welcoming every time I go. Highly recommend this place.

Highly highly recommend Bared Monkey for any laser hair removal & highly highly recommend requesting Hanah!!! Have tried other places in the past & can confidently say I’ve had the most success here. Hanah is efficient, knowledgable, personable & makes the experience as enjoyable & comfortable as possible. She is truly a professional - I will continue to visit her for all my laser hair needs!! I can't recommend this place enough!! I was so hesitant about getting laser hair removal done due to being a woman of color and hearing some horror stories but my results so far are absolutely amazing!! I really struggled with ingrowns when waxing no matter what I did before during or after my appointment and they're practically nonexistant now which is amazing. I want to specifically shout out my technician Ting! She is such a sweetheart and I always look forward to seeing her 😊. I think the price is definitely affordable considering the service you're getting- I purchased a package on Groupon which saved me some money, but honestly, with my results and Ting, I'd come back no matter the price!

I have had 3 visits now for LHR and am obsessed. My results are amazing! I might laser my whole body now. 🤣 I was referred to this place by a friend and I am glad I came. Great location, comfortable and stylish waiting area, very affordable compared to waxing, reception is always kind, and Ting (my laser specialist), is the best. She is very professional, explains everything, adjusts settings according to results, and somehow makes you feel like you’re talking to your sister during your visit. 10/10 recommend!! I am never going back to waxing.

I have been going to Bared Monkey for about 2 1/2 years and I can say it was worth it. The staff are friendly. There’s no gimmick or catch with their services and deals. Their lasers for the hair removal actually does its job of removing hair. They have promotionals that you can take advantage of so you’re not breaking the bank. The facility is always clean.

This location is great, very clean, great customer service, and I never have to wait once I arrive to my appointment. They’re also very flexible with scheduling and make it easy to reach them via text. Shanay is my technician and she has been awesome! Makes you feel very relaxed while getting your service and is super nice. The customer service here is top tier. Definitely recommend.

I have been working with Hanah at Bared Monkey for several months now. I have noticed results after just one session and have seen so much progress since then. She's kind, informative, and an expert at what she does. What I appreciate most is her honesty—she tells me which areas I actually need and doesn't try to upsell unnecessary services. She's super good at pain management and easing through more sensitive areas, and she always takes time to answer my questions without ever rushing me. The space is clean and professional, and the prices are fantastic. I will keep returning and recommend her to anyone in my network who wants to do laser!

I’ve only completed my first few sessions, but I am already thoroughly impressed with Bared Monkey and the quality of service and professionalism provided by both the staff and service technicians. It was recommended to me by a friend, and although I’m located in New Jersey and initially hoped to find a more local option (to avoid taking a train into New York for each appointment), Bared Monkey was irrefutably the best choice for me based on pricing, promotions, and the thousands of positive reviews. Anna facilitated my initial consultation, patch test, and all sessions since, and no amount of praise can fully convey how exceptional she has been. As this is my first-ever experience with laser hair removal, Anna has been incredibly patient, thorough, and informative in addressing every question and concern I’ve had throughout the process. Her clear expertise is evident during each session in her ability to be both efficient and meticulous in her work. What I appreciate most is her ability to balance warmth/approachability with the utmost professionalism, creating an environment where I always feel safe and comfortable, despite being exposed for the majority of each session. I visit the Herald Square location and would recommend it to everyone. The space is clean, efficiently run (& nicely decorated as a bonus!), and while commuting via NJ Transit isn’t ideal, Bared Monkey, and my experience with Anna, make the trip into Penn Station worth it (a sentiment few would offer lightly).

this place is a hidden gem - i've recommended 5+ friends at this point because it's unbelievable how much better this place is vs every other laser place i've tried or heard my friends talk about. 1) they're incredible value - their prices are great 2) despite being very popular, they're always easy to book with and schedule with. incredibly responsible and organized staff 3) they're clean, effective, fast (always there for <10 minutes) and pretty much pain free (hurts less than even getting eyebrows threaded). i can't believe i had been doing waxes for years before pulling the trigger on laser-ing here i've come back multiple times for more and more areas given my great experience. couldn't recommend more
