How we rate med spas
Trust depends on transparency. This page explains what we evaluate when we list and order providers, how paid placements work, and how we keep ratings independent of advertising.
What we evaluate
We consider a combination of objective signals when ordering providers within a city or treatment page:
- Credentials & licensing. Whether provider and business details check out against available records.
- Reviews & ratings. Published patient feedback and ratings, when available. We never create or alter reviews.
- Profile completeness. How much verified information a provider has, such as services, contact details, and location.
- Transparency. Clear service information that helps consumers make an informed choice.
Featured vs. standard listings
Some providers appear as featured listings. Featured placement is a paid product that gives a provider added visibility, and featured listings are labeled. Standard listings are not paid. Whether a listing is featured or standard, the underlying information we display, such as ratings and reviews, is reported independently and is not changed in exchange for payment.
Conflict of interest disclosure
Featured listings are paid placements; ratings are independent. We earn revenue from featured placements and provider products, not from inflating any individual provider's ratings or reviews. Our goal is to keep consumer-facing information trustworthy so people can compare providers with confidence.
