I had an excellent office visit experience today. Dr. Simi Cadmus and her medical assistant, America, were proficient and knowledgeable. The support staff at the W. Anderson Lane location was friendly, personable, and professional. I appreciated their wonderful customer service upon my visit in mid-February of 2026.

Staffing professionalism has changed since our first visit. I am disappointed in the lack of genuine care, the feel, (from the time you walk into the door, until you leave)as if you're the bother, and somehow infringing on their conversation they were having or them getting back to what they really want to do. As if you didnt schedule an appointment months in advance, how dare you interrupt us talking about outside events that have nothing to do with doing our job. Even the visit with the provider, Dr. Cadmus felt rushed and Im dreading returning 😕 again. But I suppose it was too good to be true, it seems to have been the nature of TX, the South- BUT ALSO, NOT! Our first visit was great so im guessing their change in attitude came from me calling for an appointment and being given one two months away, bu5 then making one for the next day online. They've been acting poorly sine. The complete lack of empathy for not being able to accommodate your pts, is not only sad but unacceptable. I was embarrassed for another pt when she they came in and inquired about trying to resolve an issue, and the response tone was very loudly, 'Not my problem and nothing I can do to figure it out'; literally, don't call us, we'll call you! Its understandable that you cant meet every need, especially a walk in one, BUT, at least act like you care that you cannot. This is Healthcare, but Healthcare is a business and your customer service actually has been inadequate these last few visits. 🙄 Also, the fact that every time I conclude an appointment, the provider says, 'nice to meet you.!' Excuse me, ma'am, we've MET like 4 times, please- get it together. The knowledge is still there but its rushed. Furthermore, the fact that I can hear every word through the walls of the next it's room, and hear the medical assistant giving the doctor a play by play of what I've shared outside my room door (which I now realize the next pt can also hear)... please do better.

Professional Care with Room for Improvement I recently visited Central Austin Dermatology & Aesthetics on Anderson Lane and had a mixed experience worth sharing. The highlight of my visit was working with Courtney Scamardo, PA-C. From the moment she entered the exam room, her professionalism was evident—she offered a confident handshake with excellent eye contact, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout the appointment, her communication was exceptionally clear. She took time to explain my concerns thoroughly and outlined treatment options in a way that was easy to understand without being condescending. Her clinical expertise and personable demeanor made the consultation feel genuinely collaborative. The facility itself is functional and clean. The waiting area is decidedly no-frills—basic seating and minimal décor—but it’s perfectly adequate if you’re not looking for spa-like amenities. The exam rooms are a strong point: bright, well-lit spaces that feel clinical in the best way, making it easy for thorough examinations. Unfortunately, my experience with the support staff fell short of expectations. There was minimal greeting upon arrival, and interactions felt transactional rather than welcoming. A little courtesy goes a long way in healthcare settings, and this was noticeably absent. Overall, I’d recommend this practice specifically for Courtney Scamardo’s excellent care. If you can overlook the impersonal support staff, you’ll receive solid dermatological treatment in a clean, well-maintained facility. The

I went to Central Austin Dermatology and Aesthetics on Anderson Lane. My appointment was with Quoc-Bao Nguyen. I thought he answered all my questions and he was very detailed oriented. It was a great experience. The staff who worked with him were really nice. It was easy to get to the location and there was plenty of parking.

Front desk was great. The doctor and medical assistant were dismissive and rude. Rushed me out of the appointment. When i called later for some follow up questions, i was dismissed again. I went in for a skin check and they spent maybe 3 mins with me. I thought this was normal but i started talking to people whove had skin checks before and no it wasnt. The hair on my scalp wasnt checked,no fancy light was held over my body. The doctor and medical assistant looked so annoyed during the appointment. When i called back to ask if it was normal for the appointment to be ao quick, for my scalp to not be checked or a light held over my skin. The staff again acted annoyed and said i have to " specifically request the light." I saw dr. Quoc-Bao Nguyen. Not sure if he has his own medical Assistant or if they rotate. Idk the whole event turned me off to them.

Saw Dr. Cadmus and I was so disappointed. My first time seeing a doctor for a very concerning issue, hair loss and was treated like I was stupid, talked to like I was an idiot... and pretty much felt like I was a burden. A six month follow up was suggested and I declined. I left that office with no answers and felt so sad. I'll have to find another doctor or go to Houston for care. Edit: I read some of the other reviews and apparently this is how they do business in this office. Yeah... never coming back.

Great experience with the doctors at this practice formerly Farady Dermatology. This staff is thorough and professional. Very knowledgeable and straightforward with the treatment for spots on my skin. I’ll be back in a year!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Quoc-Bao Nguyen. He is professional and friendly. He performed cauterizing procedures for me twice. The first time came out wonderful. I just had my second procedure done yesterday and expect the results as good as my first one. The nurse assistant is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall i am happy with this office.

Courtney was great. She made me feel very comfortable in my appointment and answered each of my questions with patience and knowledge. Thanks!!

Dr. Cadmus is just totally Awesome. My skin was so bad when I started treatment with her. It has come such a long way. Im actually proud wearing less and less makeup...I am moving toward a clear and smooth tone without coverage
