I love both Yolanda & Claricea. They've both been doing my hair for about 4 years. They care about the health of their client's hair and scalp. They both have great customer service skills & the ambiance of the shop is great!

Designer Beauty clinic keeps my natural hair sleek, flowing and bouncy when planning and executing events or when relaxing for date night. Yolanda has blessed hands for healthy blow outs and maintaining hair growth. Claricea holds down braids, dreads and protective styles. I was recently diagnosed with a form of alopecia resulting from psoriasis and was self conscious about going to a salon. I researched local places that would take care of my scalp and hair to no avail. Most places weren't knowledgeable of proper care for my condition or just wanted to cover it up. I was about to give up, but expanded my search an hour and a half away to Charlotte. I'm very happy that I did. I booked with Claricea for a virtual consultation and the rest is history! She uses quality ingredients and is educated on scalp issues. Her own diagnosis of alopecia makes her more experienced than most in the field. Lastly, my hair is beautiful. I've loved both my crochet styles thus far, and feel good knowing my hair and scalp are thriving underneath.

Terrible outcome , post Keratin treatment and landed in a messy color. Burned my neck due to carelessness of Master Hair Stylist during hair setting. I asked for few areas to be highlighted with natural shades along with keratin treatment. I selected shown from their color board and Stylist recommended that shade too.The bleach and toner what they used made it white instead of the color chose and landed up totally with a different shade. After the first wash and cut, they said to come next day to make it better. On top of it while ironing they accidentally burned right neck area and left unattended.There is burned patch due that. The scalp was itching for the full night and I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t go to Friday friends party due these issue. Today I visited then asking fix to my original shade, even after second round toner color it is not matching to what was asked. The master stylist was not ready to accept that they messed up the color and kept on saying excuses. They charged 490$ and were not ready to compensate for any of their mistakes neither had an apology.

I had a wonderful experience at the Designer Beauty Clinic. Yolanda is a true Hairstylist, experienced, caring, and gentle with my hair. She made sure I was comfortable, and she gave me some great tips on how to take care of my hair between visits. I'm so glad I could find a stylist I can trust. She's gifted! It was the first time I've seen my hair so beautiful and healthy while straightened in years!

I am very happy that I found Designer Beauty Clinic and Ms. Yolanda. The salon has a great vibe, professional setting with coffee and snacks. Ms. Yolanda loves what she does and you can tell. Happy to be apart of the family.

Wow! This is what I said when Yolanda spent that chair around and showed me my hair!!! The entire experience was AMAZING. From the time I walked it, I automatically felt good vibes and a peaceful and calming atmosphere. In the past year I have experienced some hair loss, hair thinning and I just didn’t know what to do. A true Hair Salon is So refreshing in 2023. Yolanda was inviting and attentive. She listened to my concerns and cut my natural hair just as I requested. I am Pleased and will return for regular maintenance moving forward.
