I had a very disappointing experience with the billing practices at Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics. Despite having active insurance at the time of my visit, an alleged balance of $16.31 was referred to collections without proper notice. Escalating a matter of this size to collections, particularly without confirming accurate billing and insurance handling, is deeply concerning. When I received the collections notice, it listed an incorrect address, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy and diligence of their billing process and whether any prior notices were properly issued at all. I contacted the practice directly to dispute the charge, request proper documentation, and ask that the account be recalled from collections, but received no response. For a medical provider, this lack of accountability and failure to address clear administrative errors is unacceptable. Patients should be cautious and closely review billing and insurance handling.

I recently had the AlmaHybrid laser treatment (April 28th). Today is June 26th and my skin continues to improve. I can’t say enough about Dr. Kalimullah. I actually fell asleep during the procedure. He was gentle, informative and very easy to talk to. I’ll definitely return for all my dermatology needs!

I had very high hopes for this establishment and the procedures I received. I understand there is always fine print that results are not guaranteed and vary with the patient. However, for spending thousands of dollars for scar treatment (CO2, subcision, and TCA CROSS), my results were minimal at best. Upon returning to consult, they recommended a repeat procedure. Altogether, both sessions would've equaled nearly $10K, which is impractical for the layperson. So disappointed.

I have had an excellent experience with CDAM. I see Dr. Kalimullah, who has helped me enormously with treating problem areas/acne I didn’t think could be resolved. The whole office has a great vibe, and they truly mean it when they say you can reach out with any questions (I have, and they always respond and are always helpful). I am so so happy to have found this office, and know that I will be getting excellent treatment whether it is cosmetic or medical. I have recommended CDAM to multiple friends and they have all been just as satisfied.

I've been to a lot of dermatologists in Chicago and let me tell you, Dr. Cavanaugh is amazing. I recently got my filler and botox done here and I have a serious phobia of needles. He and Christina made the entire experience so pleasant - I can already tell the results are AMAZING. I've also gotten ExcelV Laser done with Jennifer - I can't wait to start seeing results from that as well. I will 100% continue to come back for all my dermatology and aesthetic needs. If you need a kind, knowledgeable dermatologist that actually takes the time to understand your concerns, he is your guy. I'm so happy and can't wait to continue to work with him in the future!

I got a very short notice appointment with Dr. Kalimullah today for an urgent issue. He and his assistant were extremely prompt and gave clear instructions about the procedure and aftercare. I am going back for a full body skin check in a few weeks and will certainly consider using them moving forward for any aesthetic/cosmetic needs. It’s nice to find a practice with awareness of different procedures that isn’t just focused solely on treating medical complaints.

Absolutely obsessed with Dr Kalimullah. He is excellent from start to finish with consults, treatment routines, injectables, lasers and everything I’ve asked for in preparing me for my wedding. I have nothing but the best things to say about this practice. The attention to detail and kindness is unmatched. You are not a number here. They customize everything to your needs and desires. And the results? Phenomenal. Thank you CDAM!!

My experience at CDAM was very pleasant. Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff were warm and inviting. He explained the procedure thoroughly and was very gentle, making sure I was comfortable at all times. The medical assistant was nice and explained all the aftercare instructions in detail. My follow up appointment was seamless and efficient as well. I will be returning to CDAM in the future for more aesthetic procedures!

Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff are so professional and welcoming during each of my visits. I have done only face to face appointments and setting them up is very easy. I never have to wait to see the doctor and have immediately been escorted to a room after checking in. I have been impressed by Dr. Cavanaugh's expertise & knowledge, as well as his positive approach and willingness to take the time to fully explain everything in great detail and answers all my questions without ever making me feel I was being rushed out. His recommendations for services and treatments have made me feel so better about myself. Also, the bonus of having his staff open for communication during off hours if i had questions or concerns after a treatment was very comforting. I would recommended Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff to anyone wanting a positive experience working with a fabulous team of professionals.

First off, upon walking into the waiting room I was highly impressed - the place is beautiful and very clean. My satisfaction continued with how pleasant and friendly the reception staff were. They were able to answer all my questions and were so cheerful! After checking in, it took less than a minute for the nurse to call me in for my appointment. She was also extremely friendly and professional. When I got to the exam room, she took the time to explain to me how the appointment was going to go and gave me the opportunity to ask any questions I had before seeing the doctor. Being new and never having seen this dermatologist before, I really appreciated him being helpful and positive throughout. Once the nurse left, I barely had to wait for Dr. Cavanaugh to come in - he was right on time and came in with a huge smile and immediately made me feel at ease by making conversation and allowing us to get to know each other a little bit before beginning the exam. We continued to chat during the exam, and he took the time to carefully explain everything he was doing and why, making eye contact and breaking things down if I had questions. He worked quickly but carefully and was very gentle and respectful. Overall he was tremendously pleasant. On top of that, I was in and out in 30 minutes from check-in to check-out. I would 100% recommend this practice; everything about it was exemplary and I look forward to continuing with them
