Dr. Jill Waibel | Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute - Coconut Grove

I was at Dr. Waibel’s office today (1st time). She was recommended to by Dr. Lisa Reale (who is a great doctor) Dr. Waibel is very professional, knowledgable and informative. She puts you at ease with her friendly attitude and makes you feel you have been her pt forever. She replies to all your questions with clarity. I highly recommend her. Christina her medical assistant is very warm and friendly and extremely efficient. They are a team. Thank you all.

Dr. Jill Waibel is as professional and empathetic as I had been told by many of my friends. She is a true legend and one of a kind. Jess (PA) provided so many good insights on Cancer prevention, skin care as well as many of Dr. Woebel's clinical trials currently being conducted. As she prepared me for the procedure she explained everything that would be happening step by step and patiently took the time to advise me on post care. I will be returning to Dr. Jill Waibel and Jess for cosmetic procedures. Many kind blessings!

I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding the extremely unprofessional experience I had with Dr. Jill Waibel’s Miami Dermatology and Laser Institute – Coconut Grove, located at 3683 S Miami Avenue, Suite 200, Miami, FL 33133. Today, the front desk staff specifically confirmed my appointment for 4:30 PM and told me there was availability for me to be seen. Before coming, I clearly explained over the phone that if there were no available appointments, I could simply come another day. Despite that, the girls at the front desk assured me multiple times that I could come in today at 4:30 PM. Based on that information, I wasted over an hour driving to and from the appointment, rearranged my schedule, and made the effort to arrive exactly as instructed. After arriving, I was then told that there were still 3 people ahead of me even though it was already well past my actual appointment time. To make matters even worse, the front desk staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional during the entire situation. Instead of showing concern or respect for the inconvenience caused, the interaction felt careless and disrespectful toward a patient who had called ahead and followed the instructions given by the office. At that point, it became obvious that the appointment scheduling was either completely disorganized or that my appointment time was never being taken seriously to begin with. Patients should not be told to arrive for a specific appointment time only to sit there indefinitely while multiple other patients are still ahead of them far beyond the scheduled time. This entire experience was a complete waste of my time and showed a serious lack of professionalism, communication, organization, and respect toward patients. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I gave your office every opportunity to simply tell me the truth over the phone if there was no real availability. Instead, I was told to come in anyway. This experience left a very negative impression of your practice, staff, and management. A professional medical office should value patients’ time and communicate honestly and efficiently. The level of disorganization and disregard I experienced today was unacceptable. I hope Dr. Jill Waibel and the management team seriously review how appointments are being scheduled and how patients are being treated so others do not go through the same frustrating experience in the future. Thank you.

Dr. Jill Waibel is an excellent physician. I had a facial laser treatment with her today, and every step of the process was clearly explained and went smoothly. Dr. Waibel’s knowledge is truly unmatched. Her medical assistants, Biana and Stephanie, are amazing 👏—both incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely caring. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. Dr. Waible is thorough, patient, and truly listens, which made my first visit so comfortable and reassuring. Her team is equally friendly and efficient. Dr waibel and her staff are the most caring people that I’ve ever met and had dealings with in the medical field in my 60 years on this earth. They have gone way above …wayyyyyy…. Their duties and care giving for me. She has the biggest heart and her knowledge is something that you must see and then believe .
