I had a haircut at Green Pea salon 2 weeks ago, and OMG this is the best bob in my life! So versatile and easy to style. Samantha did such a wonderful job, will definitely be back.

So I have not had cut my curly hair in almost 2 years and it was long and thick, so I found this place and they did amazing I had melody she was so sweet and knowledgeable. Even some things I didn’t even know about my curly hair. atmosphere was amazing. I would definitely recommend a family and friends. 10/10 *****

Just moved to Nashville and needed to find a salon. Happened to live near this salon, and looked at the reviews and decide to book an appointment. I was recommended Addy at the front desk, and she did a phenomenal job on my hair today! It was quite the project as I hadn't had my hair done in almost a year. I am transitioning to my natural base color and wanted to blend my highlights with my grey hair. And I desperately needed a good haircut. She took her time and did an excellent job...and best of all, my husband loves it!! So happy to have so quickly found a great salon and stylist and recommended her and the salon highly!

The owner, Kelly, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Parking lot was inches of solid ice, two people fell in it, and when it was mentioned that they may want to treat with salt it because it was a safety hazard, he became extremely aggressive, saying he already had. I told him there were still inches of ice and he may need repeat treatments or a shovel. He yelled “that’s not how this worked” and claimed I was raising my voice at him, when I was not and he was in fact yelling at me. I then asked him his name, and he told me, said “go ahead” and then stormed off. I would’ve canceled if it weren’t for my stylist losing their commission and will not be returning.

It looks like I can’t respond to the response to my original review, so I’ll have to leave another review, which is perfect, as it’s equally concerning and consistent with the inappropriate and aggressive behavior I had originally reported. Response from the owner 6 hours ago Elizabeth, as the owner had explained to you, we had put down multiple bags of salt and maintained the parking lot to the best of our ability with limited resources. As you know, there were thousands without power and in more dire situations than we were at our salon. We could not find more salt due to the crisis Nashville faced that past week, and there are no extra workers to “shovel” the parking lot, as they are prioritizing those who are in more desperate need of help. As far as falling, you are able to make your own decisions as an adult to gauge whether walking on ice would be dangerous or not. We have an additional parking lot that is fully clear of ice with lots of availability. We let all clients know about this parking lot ahead of their appointment in our confirmation texts. Have a great day! Correct in that the city was limited in resources, but there were still multiple inches of solid ice and a shovel would be likely necessary to break this up, as I suggested after watching a woman fall and get injured. Kelly obviously didn’t like my suggestion of manual labor and accountability, as it is a business owner’s responsibility for maintaining their property and not the city of Nashville, as you are suggesting I suggested. The text said nothing about the other parking lot being clear. Part of being an adult is also being able to have calm discussions, which is all this was intended to be before Kelly became verbally aggressive towards me and he or whoever is responding to this is continuing to be. What’s your excuse for that? To all potential patrons: is this who you want to do business with? There’s plenty of other options in Nashville: use your judgment to decide if this is who you want to do business with.

I have been going to Green Pea Salon for over a year, and I can’t say enough good things about them. Lyndon is my stylist and she is so friendly, very knowledgeable in my hair type (curly hair), and helpful at learning aftercare techniques. I recommend them to anyone!
