Would you like to experience nirvana? Make an appointment with Heidi, at the Fillmore location. Arrive a little early and relax out back on a beautiful, serene deck. Enjoy the peace. Experience the bliss. Walk out rejuvenated! I received the lymph detox message, which was beyond words- felt so amazing. The staff was kind and friendly. I will def be returning, esp with the extra nudge from my membership package I ended up signing up for. Honestly, how could I not?! 100/10 stars from me.
I was super disappointed all around. The booking experience was tedious. I ended up calling bc I wanted to do 2 services and couldn’t figure out how to do online. Took 30 mins bc the person on the other end couldn’t spell my name right or get the credit card info right (more on that later) Get there- thinking it’s a spa experience but it’s not. No real welcome, no walk to show you where the bathroom is. The “relaxation music” is so loud it’s jarring; is that why she couldn’t get my info Down right?? There are two music tracks playing at one time making it worse - ocean sounds and spa music. I guess there was a reason for that but the tracks didn’t go together and were competing. Then they’d switch it from flute sounds to almost a clubby like music in the middle. Was someone playing dj? Anyway, massage was fine but bless his heart I couldn’t hear a word he said as he guided me through the massage. There are no robes so i had to get completely dressed to walk the 5 feet between the massage room and the facial room. Then undressed again for the facial. Honest to god the facial was awful, sticky, burny, itchy, uncomfortable. They put a mask on my face- from a package (like you do at home- I can do that at home why did I come here for that?). Then when it was over she just walked out. Nothing. No waiting at the door to walk me to the front from the maze I was in, or show me where the bathroom was. I had to ask a random person walking by to point me in the right direction. The lack of hospitality for a spa made it very transactional. The overly loud music gave me anxiety honest to god, and the odd staff and treatment left me feeling like I wasted perfectly good money and a free afternoon doing the wrong thing. Then you get put on their marketing campaign drip which I’ve already gotten 2 texts and it hasn’t even been 24 hours. Never again.
I enjoyed my facial and the staff has always been nice, but I’m rating this a 2 because of the spa raised their prices astronomically with zero warning. My first time in (less than 2 months ago) my facial was $190. I came in for the same service yesterday and was shocked to learn at checkout that it’s now $260 before tax and gratuity. That is a huge delta, and considering I spoke to multiple staff members to book and move my appt, they had numerous opportunities to flag this major increase in service prices. I won’t be returning for this reason.
What a great experience! Megan was wonderful at working out issues in my back and hips I've carried around for years. I've asked other body workers for very firm pressure (and bless them, they tried) but Megan blew them out of the water. I was glad to find out at checkout that they do take FSA benefits cards, and walking out the door with a hot oat milk latte was the perfect cherry on top of the sundae. Can't wait to go back.
Really happy I went to Diane- I couldn't be happier with my experience. Diane's gentle and attentive approach put me at ease. I was initially apprehensive about acupuncture, but she took the time to address my concerns and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. Her soothing demeanor and knowledge made what could have been an uneasy experience quite enjoyable. I highly recommend Diane at RedMint for anyone seeking acupuncture treatments from a caring and skilled practitioner. She truly goes above and beyond to create a comfortable and healing environment. I will be back to see her for sure!
GO HERE!! It is simply an Oasis in San Francisco. I had the best massage I’ve ever received by Heidi, who really took the time to pay keen attention to all of my problem areas I shared with her. Not to mention the fact she took the time after to go over exercises to implement into my day to help with my muscle pain. After, I was greeted by the wonderful receptionist who made me a delicious herbal tea and showed me the back patio to enjoy it at. Whether it be you need relaxation, rejuvenation, muscle relief, or just a mental health day- THIS is the place. I felt completely centered again after going there, it is such a gem!!!
