I was super disappointed all around. The booking experience was tedious. I ended up calling bc I wanted to do 2 services and couldn’t figure out how to do online. Took 30 mins bc the person on the other end couldn’t spell my name right or get the credit card info right (more on that later) Get there- thinking it’s a spa experience but it’s not. No real welcome, no walk to show you where the bathroom is. The “relaxation music” is so loud it’s jarring; is that why she couldn’t get my info Down right?? There are two music tracks playing at one time making it worse - ocean sounds and spa music. I guess there was a reason for that but the tracks didn’t go together and were competing. Then they’d switch it from flute sounds to almost a clubby like music in the middle. Was someone playing dj? Anyway, massage was fine but bless his heart I couldn’t hear a word he said as he guided me through the massage. There are no robes so i had to get completely dressed to walk the 5 feet between the massage room and the facial room. Then undressed again for the facial. Honest to god the facial was awful, sticky, burny, itchy, uncomfortable. They put a mask on my face- from a package (like you do at home- I can do that at home why did I come here for that?). Then when it was over she just walked out. Nothing. No waiting at the door to walk me to the front from the maze I was in, or show me where the bathroom was. I had to ask a random person walking by to point me in the right direction. The lack of hospitality for a spa made it very transactional. The overly loud music gave me anxiety honest to god, and the odd staff and treatment left me feeling like I wasted perfectly good money and a free afternoon doing the wrong thing. Then you get put on their marketing campaign drip which I’ve already gotten 2 texts and it hasn’t even been 24 hours. Never again.
