This is my first time back in a while, and while my previous experiences were all fine or pleasant Riley was not as up to standard as previous students. My main issue is the cut of my bangs. I did not notice at the time as they were still wet, but upon getting home and showering/drying my hair I realized they were Incredibly uneven and at a literal slant. Part of the issue I think is that after my requested extra cutting as I wanted a shorter length, the professor was never called to check her work. She also referred to the entire session as a trim several times despite me booking a haircut and paying for one. It's important to note she was resistant to using clipers despite my initial scheduling having a note requesting that my stylist have them prepared, and then again during the cut I approved and suggested use of clippers again. She said she was uncomfortable with using clippers. While I can sympathize, it caused more strain for both her and me. She had to cut down the back of my hair by hand which she struggled to properly reach and I had to crane my neck down as far as I could to make it work. Everything got done in the end, but the refusal to take advantage of the learning opportunity and make both our experiences smoother really soured the experience.
