Dr. Rai is the most exceptional surgeon out there! I’d give him 10 stars if I could! He was comforting and reassuring throughout the entire process, from our initial consultation to the phone calls on the weekend just to check on me post op. I truly cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. They are all incredible human beings dedicated to helping each patient on their healing journey. I had my explant surgery with Dr. Rai on January 29, and I truly could not be more pleased with my experience. From my very first appointment through my one-month follow-up today, he has been exceptional in every way. Dr. Rai is incredibly kind, compassionate, and smart. He took the time to answer every single one of my questions — and then some — in depth. I never once felt rushed or dismissed. He made sure I fully understood the procedure, recovery process, and what to expect at every stage. What stood out to me the most was how personally invested he is in his patients. He called me himself multiple times to check on me after surgery, which meant so much. On the day of surgery, he even held my hand in the operating room while waiting for the anesthesia to kick in. I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Rai being my surgeon. I first consulted with Dr. Surjit Rai back in 2021 about getting an explant. I would check in about once a year to see how about pricing and how far out scheduling was for the procedure. I finally decided to go through with my explant in November, and my experience has been amazing. Dr. Rai is incredibly attentive and caring.
