Dr. Rai is the most exceptional surgeon out there! I’d give him 10 stars if I could! He was comforting and reassuring throughout the entire process, from our initial consultation to the phone calls on the weekend just to check on me post op. I truly cannot say enough good things about him and his staff. They are all incredible human beings dedicated to helping each patient on their healing journey. I had my explant surgery with Dr. Rai on January 29, and I truly could not be more pleased with my experience. From my very first appointment through my one-month follow-up today, he has been exceptional in every way. Dr. Rai is incredibly kind, compassionate, and smart. He took the time to answer every single one of my questions — and then some — in depth. I never once felt rushed or dismissed. He made sure I fully understood the procedure, recovery process, and what to expect at every stage. What stood out to me the most was how personally invested he is in his patients. From the moment I met Dr. Surgit Rai, there was a peace about him that told me he was here for me. He answered all my questions in a 1-hour meeting. I then had more questions later and emailed him. He responded quickly, not by email, but rather, he called me. His kindness and demeanor are the BEST! His knowledge is top-notch. I asked him about his education, experience, and everything I could think of. He was happy to share it all. I had an implant removal done. I wanted new implants put in. I decided not to replace the implants based on his knowledge and my situation. Other surgeons I interviewed just wanted to replace what I had. He would have done whatever I wanted. I had no implant problems that I knew of. I decided to take them out and get a lift. It turned out that both implants were ruptured. This was the best decision, and I am so glad I was under Dr. Rai's care. While there, I decided to get a lower face and neck lift. Both procedures were done on the same day. What a fantastic job he did. With both procedures in one day, I had no pain. I took Tylenol for one day. I followed his instructions, and everything was perfect. I have had many surgeries in my past. I am 60. Hospital settings make me anxious. Dr. Rai has his own surgical room. I had zero anxiety. If hospitals make you nervous, this is the way to go. I have had many good surgeons in my past.
