Went in for IPL telling them of concerns of the redness on my nose. Guess what the tech decided to skip.... my nose. She was uninterested. Did not seem to care about me or my concerns. I felt relief walking out of there... There are so many great offices. Go to Flash Laser in Encino!

I went in for IPL treatments, and from the start, Audrey was incredibly helpful and accommodating in getting me scheduled for a consult. When I went in, Ingrid was quick to greet me and get me started. The facility is beautiful and clean, and Ingrid had perfect tips and was extremely knowledgeable on how I can treat my skin better. My treatment left my skin looking so rejuvenated and healthy and I'm looking forward to going here more in the future! It is a wonderful experience and their kindness and customer service is the best!

I’m leaving this review based solely on my experience with the front desk and doctor, as I did not receive any procedures. The front desk clerk was genuinely kind and personable, which is the only reason this isn’t a one-star review. Unfortunately, the overall experience felt like a bait-and-switch, and I left feeling pressured, misled, and frustrated. I initially came in for an IPL laser treatment advertised on Groupon. Before any real consultation, I was told that IPL would not be suitable for my skin type and was immediately steered toward a much more expensive Pico laser treatment—jumping from roughly $50 to $300. This recommendation came before asking about my prior laser history or treatment goals. I mentioned that I’ve had IPL treatments before (including internationally) with good results, and that higher-end technology alone doesn’t guarantee effectiveness—especially for my skin type. Still, the focus remained on upselling rather than listening. What stood out most was that I was asked whether I had already purchased the Groupon before this conversation. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but it became clear that because it wasn’t purchased yet, switching me to a higher-priced service was easier. When scheduling, I was given an appointment date that I had already explained I could not realistically make work. I was then asked for my card “to hold the appointment,” without being told clearly that a non-refundable deposit would be charged. After the card was taken, I was informed there was a $100 deposit, yet only $50 was charged, which added to the confusion and made the policy feel inconsistent and poorly communicated. Overall, the experience felt transaction-driven rather than patient-focused. If you’re considering coming here, I strongly recommend: Asking very clear questions about deposits before giving card information Confirming exact pricing and policies in writing Being prepared for upselling beyond advertised services I cannot speak to the quality of the actual treatments, but based on the intake process alone, this was not a reassuring or transparent experience.

Bought a Groupon for 3 sessions of laser hair removal on my underarms last year. Attended the 3. Bought an additional 3 at regular price. Truthfully do not see results. I’ve done 3 Groupon sessions on my lower legs in another state and had much better results, rarely have to shave. It’s like I had nothing done on my underarms here… nice technicians, but no results. I have medium to dark brown hair and light to medium skin, so am a candidate for successful results.

Extremely pleased with my visits to Downtown Laser and Anti-Aging and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking to get laser done. I was very skeptical about laser treatments prior to coming this place and came in with a lot of questions but the technicians took the time to discuss them all with me and gave me a lot of information. Yes, they are professional and super helpful. They have by far exceeded my expectations. I originally came with a groupon for a small area and have added a lot of additional treatments since then! The office is also really clean which made me feel comfortable! I would give them a 6-star rating if possible!

This medical spa is my one stop shop for all my beauty needs. I come here for my filler, Botox, and laser. Mink is amazing and so knowledgeable when it comes to facial anatomy, technique, and treatment products. I completely trust her and I honestly have never left disappointed. Further, she has been so kind and attentive while working with me on different filler products since my body metabolizes filler quite quickly. Also, you really can’t beat the pricing, Val (who is such a sweet heart) has offered me great treatment packages, including my full body laser treatment package that saved me alot of money compared to the prior laser places I used to go to. The entire staff here are so friendly, personable, and professional. Making appointments is easy and can be done via text. You get text reminders prior to appointments and I have never had an issue rescheduling when my schedule necessitates it. I trust this place so much that I even brought my mom here for filler and Botox, which says a lot since my mom is very cautious and gets nervous about injectable beauty treatments. But I truly trust this place so much and my mom even drove all the way from the westside to come back for treatments on her own after having great results. I highly recommend this medical spa.

I bought a package for IPL laser and every time I come here, they are very professional and personable at the same time. Ingrid did my second session and she makes sure that you feel comfortable. I really appreciate how she explains the strength level of the laser, the number and explains what she's doing. Also, I got botox of one syringe on my crow's feet and as a preventative, l've noticed it's being maintained. They are very promt on answering the phone and their text line. I really appreciate that because as a business it's vital to have good communication - and they do this! They have a loyal customer now =)

I am so happy with my skin improvements ! Every time I leave here, I feel so confident and happy about my experience here at Dr.laser in West Hollywood. Nurse Lucine is so friendly and attentive to my sensitive needs and the Cutie Pie receptionist Tiffany is so helpful highly recommend this place… I am very happy with my experience.

I got a Groupon for IPL treatment at this med spa. I’ve read and watched a few videos, where IPL was used to treat broken capillaries and this was the main reason I wanted to try it. I have a few clusters around my nose and just a little bit on my chin. Nothing too bad. I also had some post acne hyperpigmentation on my chin, that IPL is supposed to be perfect for. At the appointment they kept saying how they have this other device that would be perfect for treating my broken capillaries, that’s called Hyfrector 2000. I knew absolutely nothing about that thing, so I tried to ask some questions and in response I got something like “oh, sure looks like you’ve never done anything like that before” like I am asking too many questions. In the end she said it’s very safe and it would only be $75 with their special (she later changed it to $100). And with my stupid logic “what the hell, I am here already” I agreed. Turns out it’s not any kind of laser I imagined, but a needle that heats up and destroys tissue (usually used for removing skin tags, warts etc). It was painful even after numbing and that needle is way to thin to target all that redness around my nose, so she ended up only treating 20% of the problem, which is a good thing, because after scabbing heeled I was left with SCARS, which as you imagine much worse and more visible than broken capillaries! The woman, who was doing the procedure seemed unconfident in every movement, her hands were shacking a little, and she didn’t even have decent lighting. So in one area, which she especially focused on, after 1 month of healing I have a hole in my skin, she most likely overly treated that area. I am not even sure if it helped with broken capillaries, because it’s all darkened now. As for IPL, she started doing it already and then asked: “you don’t use retinol, right?”. I said I stopped using it for 3 days, she turned of the machine and said we need to reschedule, because it’s best not to use it for a week. I appreciate the cautiousness , but could have warned me, when I was making my appointment. I came back for IPL and I had absolutely zero results from it. Not even my dark spot from acne lightened.

Over sell and not professional at all !!! Went in for Botox, I was told by this front desk lady that I need inject a lot more units. So I listens to her and purchased more units than I used to inject in other place. The result was so bad, my eyelids look so heavy , it didn’t help smooth the deep 11 lines like she claimed. I regret it so much. Why the front desk came in and tell me how many units I need instead of the nurse who did the injection? Do they even have a doctor? . I should have seen the red flags. Will never return.
